Ellen Lupkes from ISU Extension office (and a Roadrunner grad) brought 2 incubators with a total of 14 fertilized chicken eggs for 1st grade to keep in the classrooms to observe the hatching process as they learn about animals and their babies.

Kindergarten students practiced their cutting skills by cutting out all the flowers and raindrops for a couple of the district office doors


Middle School Earth Day activities included student council picking up trash around the campus and city park. 7/8 grade distributed prairie seed today at the school prairie. The prairie seed was purchased with a grant totaling $2987 from the Environmental Issues Instruction (eii) Program at Upper Iowa University. Mrs. Meggers was a teacher leader for the program.





The 93rd State FFA Convention was held this week. We had students able to attend in person and also virtually. Hanna Bedwell received a Gold rating and a First place award for her Chapter Website.
The Chapter Display received a Silver Rating (Members that created it: Lanie Peterson, Faith Stephens, Hanna Bedwell, Macy Nelson and Alison Young)
