Kindergarten students practiced their cutting skills by cutting out all the flowers and raindrops for a couple of the district office doors

Middle School Earth Day activities included student council picking up trash around the campus and city park. 7/8 grade distributed prairie seed today at the school prairie. The prairie seed was purchased with a grant totaling $2987 from the Environmental Issues Instruction (eii) Program at Upper Iowa University. Mrs. Meggers was a teacher leader for the program.

The 93rd State FFA Convention was held this week. We had students able to attend in person and also virtually. Hanna Bedwell received a Gold rating and a First place award for her Chapter Website. The Chapter Display received a Silver Rating (Members that created it: Lanie Peterson, Faith Stephens, Hanna Bedwell, Macy Nelson and Alison Young) Iowa Degree Recipients: Nathan Camp, Alison Young and Macy Nelson Congratulations! #Roadrunnerpride

Did you know we have a Trap Shooting Team? Roadrunners! Well done this weekend at the Indianola Trap Meet! Note: This match did not have separate ladies/men's categories. They only had Varsity, JV, and Intermediate placements and over all squad placements Congrats to the following placements. Helping Hand in Indianola has been able to secure 100 food boxes for free to any I-35 community members. The food box contains dairy products such as a gallon of milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, block of cheddar cheese and butter, 2 packages of meat, and 3 pounds of apples, oranges, potatoes, and onions. The boxes can be picked up on Wednesday, April 21, from 3pm-4pm (or until boxes are gone) at the west end of the CTE building. Please come grab a box!
