The Roadrunner Backpack program is so thankful for all the community support they receive, especially during the holidays! A special thanks to St. Patrick's Irish Settlement and St. Charles Parish who provided Thanksgiving meals to ALL of our Backpack families each year.
We may have a short week this week (no school Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday), but there is still a chance to get out and cheer on our Roadrunners!

Yesterday, nine high school band members traveled to AC/GC High School to rehearse in the WCAC Honor Band! They had a great time and sounded amazing at the concert yesterday evening!

Save the Date, Roadrunners!
This morning, I-35 hosted a Veterans Day celebration to honor all our local heroes. The morning included a program in the auditorium featuring student speakers, band and choir performances, and recognition of the over 80 veterans in attendance, followed by lunch provided by the I-35 Foods classes. The event was a fantastic success largely in part to the organization of Ms. Sharon Whitson, and the support of countless students and staff who worked together to help make this event happen. Thank you to all involved and thank you to all our Veterans. What a great showing of our Roadrunner Pride!
