Come cheer on the high school boys as they participate in the National Honor Society's annual Ironman Volleyball Tournament on Wednesday, November 2 at 6:00 pm in the high school gym. Any high school girl interested in coaching or any boys interested in participating may sign up with Tiffany in the office by October 25.

Immediately following the ceremony lunch will be served by our students. Hello all. We will need to make a couple changes to the lunch menu this week and a couple changes to next week's lunch menu due to out of stock food items and staffing shortages. Here are the following changes: Wednesday, October 19th: (Vegetable) Savory Carrots have been changed to Baby Carrots Friday, October 21st: (Lunch Main) WG Pepperoni French Bread has been changed to WG Corndog Monday, October 24th: (Lunch Main) WG Chicken Nuggets has been changed to WG Pepperoni French Bread Wednesday, October 26th: (Lunch Main) WG Corndog has been changed to WG Chicken Nuggets We apologize for the inconvenience these changes create. Today, the elementary students had some very special visitors from our local Fire Departments! The firefighters came to share some fire safety tips with students as well as give the students a chance to see the fire equipment first-hand! Thank you! #RoadrunnerPride

Yesterday afternoon we had a bus breakdown while on route; Abram Edwards helped to make sure the younger students were safely seated on the second bus while Natalye Bell made sure there were no students remaining on the broken down bus. The Department of Education is seeking input on Administrative Code 281, Chapter 12, which is the governing document for PK-12 schools in Iowa. It focuses on improving learning, achievement and performance. The Code is currently under review.
