After a rough start on Monday with technical difficulties due to our Firewall (the Tech Dept. now knows how to avoid the issue in the future!), I-35 wrapped up the week of ISASPs testing with a Dodgeball Tournament! Congratulations to Ms. Belden's advisory for their win!
Four 7th graders and five 8th graders were selected to participate in the WCAC Middle School Honor Band. Students spent the afternoon of Tuesday, March 21st rehearsing at Madrid Jr/Sr High School and performed in a concert with peers from all the schools within the WCAC. It was a great experience for students to meet musicians from other schools, learn from teachers with different backgrounds and techniques, and come together to create great music together!

It's that time of year again...ISASP testing! ISASPs will be administered to our Roadrunner students Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 31. Take some time to discuss with your students the importance of being prepared and doing their best!

Starting Monday, March 20, bus 4 will be at the St. Charles Lions Hall at 7:35 for pickup due to road construction. Please have students there 5 minutes prior. Drop off time will be 3:40.
I-35 Senior, Laura Strange, was selected to perform with the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team and will be performing pre-game at the girls state basketball tournament tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Good luck & congratulations, Laura!

Last night's Family Game Night: Minute to Win It! set a record for our most attended Family Night! Let's top it off next month for our last one this year, The Amazing Race. High School Seniors were invited to sign up for a Day of Kindness. Those seniors who signed up went to Madison Square Assisted Living and Memory Care today in Winterset. Students offered craft activities, decorated sugar cookies, played cards and bingo before wrapping up the morning eating lunch with the residents. Residents were good sports and even wore the heart sunglasses we brought them. It was a wonderful experience and several residents commented how happy they were to have our students there. It was a great example of Roadrunner Pride!

**A reminder for all fans home and away, we ask that you use one of three entrances to attend I-35 activities. These include the main HS south entrance, the west side athletic entrance or the north side commons entrance located by the district entrance parking lot. Visiting teams buses can drop off at the main HS south entrance or the west athletic entrance and then park west of the school by the softball field during the contests.

Today, the Middle School ISTEP group went to Meals from the Heartland today to package meals for the hungry. The students packaged over 2,000 meals!
