Every 10 years, after the federal government conducts a census, the State of Iowa requires school districts to review the population density of their districts and make appropriate changes to director district boundaries where needed. The District is working with Cornerstone Geospatial Consulting to redistrict our boundaries based upon the 2020 Census. The proposed new boundaries take into consideration population shifts within the director districts. The District populations should be within 10% or 119 people. The 2020 Census shows a variation of 122 people of the other director districts. As a result, the recommended changes to each director district by Cornerstone Geospatial Consulting are minimal. Here are the maps of the current director districts of the I-35 CSD and the proposed director districts. If you have any questions, please reach out to the District Office at 641-765-4291.
