High School Seniors were invited to sign up for a Day of Kindness. Those seniors who signed up went to Madison Square Assisted Living and Memory Care today in Winterset. Students offered craft activities, decorated sugar cookies, played cards and bingo before wrapping up the morning eating lunch with the residents. Residents were good sports and even wore the heart sunglasses we brought them. It was a wonderful experience and several residents commented how happy they were to have our students there. It was a great example of Roadrunner Pride!

The I-35 Backpack Program wouldn’t exist without the support of our community. We are so thankful to live in a community that supports the school time and time again. Thank you to everyone that sent change last week and special thanks to the I-35 PTO for putting the event together. Stay tuned for updates on how we are able to use the funds!
Taste Test Tuesday continues in the Middle School! Last week, Rose Acres donated eggs for all students to try a hard boiled egg. This week, Capital City Fruit donated grapefruit. The middle school enjoyed both!
Did you know it was National School Counseling Week? Make sure to give Mrs. Steinlage and Mrs. Reisinger a shout out this week to thank them for everything they do to support our I-35 Roadrunners!
