Hello Roadrunner Families,
To end the 2020-21 school year, our school is going to be creating an awareness campaign for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This year we will be supporting two of our Type 1 Roadrunners, Sydney Galivan and Raegan Derscheid. In order to create a successful campaign, we have several activities lined up for all students (PK-12) to take part in. These awareness activities are outlined below:
Classroom “Coin Wars”: From May 10th to May 21st, every classroom will have a container for donations. Students are encouraged to bring in spare change to donate to the fund if they so choose.
School Walk for Awareness: On Wednesday, May 19th all PK-12 students will walk around the track to promote awareness for JDRF. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
JDRF T-Shirts: Students have the opportunity to purchase a JDRF shirt through the school. Order forms will be sent home on Monday, April 19 or you can order through the link. Roadrunner JDRF Store
We look forward to raising awareness for a fantastic cause! Thank you for your time and consideration.
Go Roadrunners!
