With the school year in full swing, we've started to help the Class of 2025 get ready to launch their future with two key events, Senior & Parent Information Night and Application Day.

Senior & Parent Information Night
On September 25, 2024 we hosted Senior and Parent Information Night. During this presentation a range of topics were covered including:
Graduation requirements and timelines
College applications and admissions process
Financial aid and scholarships
Career and vocational opportunities
Senior year events and deadlines
Over thirty seniors and their families attended this event. The goal of Senior & Parent Information night is to ensure that all seniors and their families are well-prepared for the upcoming months.
Application Day
On October 3, 2024, I-35 seniors participated in Application Day. Senior Advisors, School Counselors and Military representatives were on hand to assist students to complete college applications as well as explore opportunities in the skilled trades and the military.
Over 36 applications were completed during the event. Interstate 35 coordinated with colleges to provide fee waivers to many schools, allowing students to apply without paying application fees.
Application Day promotes equal access, helping every senior, whether they are applying to a four-year university, community college, or trade program or the military.
Thank you to all the seniors who participated in Application Day. It was great to see everyone exploring post-secondary options. And thank you to all the teachers and staff who supported the seniors by wearing their college/post-secondary gear!
