Fundraising for a Bright Future
The Dollars for Scholars program is dedicated to making higher education accessible to all students by providing scholarships and financial aid. By partnering with businesses, individuals, and community organizations, Interstate 35 Dollars for Scholars ensures that every senior planning to attend college receives some form of financial assistance. This support helps cover the costs of tuition, books, and other educational expenses, alleviating the financial burden on students and their families.
School-Wide Participation
The "Kiss the Pig" fundraiser saw great participation from all grade levels. The I-35 Student Council made a generous donation to kickstart the fundraising efforts. Meanwhile, the elementary school students conducted a donation drive within their classrooms, with the promise of a pizza party for the class that raised the most money.
The Winner: Mr. Weber Kisses the Pig
The event culminated in a fun and memorable assembly where the “winner” was announced. Mr. Weber received the most votes and had to kiss the pig! This hilarious moment filled the gym with laughter and cheers, highlighting the community spirit that drives the Dollars for Scholars program.
Thank you everyone for your support!!
